Colloidal silver in foot care
Nicole Ho. from Hagen (NRW)
The patient presented to my practice on 29.01.08 because of a purulent big toenail. I removed the nail corner and treated it with Repitelgel (iodine gel) and a foam dressing.
When it was still not much better on 03.04.08, I started treatment with colloidal silver. I cleaned and rinsed the nail corner with the silver, then bandaged it dry with a foam dressing.
On 08.04.08 the pus had almost subsided and the wound was much drier.
On 10.04.08 I cleaned and rinsed the nail corner again with silver.
On 17.04.08 I put a VHO brace on the big toe nail and since then the nail is without findings.
