Colloidal silver in animals

Can colloidal silver be used in animals?

Dr. rer. nat. P. (Dipl.-Vet.-Medizin & practicing veterinarian) on colloidal silver in animals:

I use colloidal silver (silver water) for almost all illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi. In my practice I treat almost all animal species from mice to cats, dogs, horses and birds. All applications that work on humans can also be used on animals.

I have had very good experiences with horses with sweet itch in particular, even though sweet itch is actually an allergic reaction.

The advantage over many ointments or pills is obvious:

Colloidal silver is easier to administer than tablets or pills; it can be sprayed on wounds or simply added to drinking water. Many dog or cat owners know what I’m talking about if they have ever tried to give an unwilling pet a pill or instill a medication! The animals usually lick ointments applied to festering wounds immediately. If you spray the wound with colloidal silver, you may be able to dispense with the neck collar. The antibiotic effect starts immediately. Bad breath from your pets will disappear if you add colloidal silver to their drinking water. Just make sure you only add it to your drinking water shortly before drinking, as colloidal silver cannot develop its full effect if exposed to strong light.

Customer report:

I use colloidal silver extensively. I use it for myself when I have skin problems (redness, bites from grass mites etc.) and for my animals. My horse, Golo, had a persistent, pus-filled and foul-smelling discharge from his nose (no vet was able to help us). I sprayed twice a day into the affected nostril and after a week the discharge was already less purulent and after 5 weeks it was gone. Furthermore, Golo had two deep wounds on the left and right side of his tongue (vets again no explanation and treatment). Sprayed twice a day and after 4 weeks the wounds had healed very well. With Mozart, our second horse, I spray it on the base of his mane and tail when he starts to scratch. It reacts strongly to mosquito and tick bites (crusts or open sores form).
